On August 31, 2021, the President of the United States declared a foreign relations success after abandoning hundreds of American citizens in enemy territory.

The actions of the current administration calls into question both the protection of citizenship and the long-standing American tradition of “No One Left Behind.”

The Committee to Support and Defend expects American elected officials to act in defense of the Americans currently trapped behind enemy lines and do everything within their power to bring each American home. We are currently collecting Congressional and State Legislator signatures for our Leave No American Behind pledge. We will be updating this page with information on those elected officials who commit to holding the Administration accountable for the lives of the American citizens in harm’s way – and we will let you know which politicians fail to fulfill their duty to protect the interests of American citizens.

LEGISLATORS’ PLEDGE TO LEAVE NO AMERICAN BEHIND

Our legislators should stand behind our citizens abroad and our allies. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Contact your state and federal legislators and insist they sign the pledge to Leave No American Behind.
  2. Snap a photo of the signed pledge and send to us at info@theacru.org.
  3. Or, mail the card to the American Constitutional Rights Union. The address is right on the card!
  4. Help spread the word by sharing this web page on social media.
