DHS criticized the Fairfax County District Attorney’s Office over a plea offer for Maldin Anibal Guzman-Videz and Luis Alonzo Sort-Portillo in a 2024 Fairfax County killing. The statement says the two were convicted in the stabbing death of a man whose body was found in a wooded area near a park and walking trail in Oakton, Virginia.
