If there is any single thing where enlightened opinion among the chattering classes reaches unanimity, it's that voter fraud is a myth. Outlets like The New York Times and CNN dismiss worries from President Donald Trump and Republicans about the integrity of our elections as brazen lies. Indeed, as far as they are concerned, any discussion of election cheating is just a Trump tactic aimed at delegitimizing an election he is sure to lose.

The operative also asked for authority to take possession of all such blank absentee ballots issued and to hold them until the Democratic Party can schedule a ‘Voting Day’ at each nursing home in the district. At ‘Voting day’ events, to be held shortly before the November election, representatives of the Democratic Party would ‘help’ the residents complete their ballots, i.e., assist them in casting their votes. At this writing, two members of the local election board in question are opposed to the Democrats’ request, but the matter is still pending.

Four women who are accused of targeting elderly voters in 2016 were indicted on 30 felony counts of voter fraud and arrested following an investigation by the office of the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. The defendants were members of an organized voter fraud ring and were paid to target elderly voters in certain northern Fort Worth precincts in a scheme to generate large numbers of mail ballots, then harvest those ballots for specific candidates, the office's news release said.
