When President Trump asked members of Congress during his State of the Union address to stand if they believed the government’s duty is to protect American citizens over illegal aliens, the silence from the left was striking. That moment raises a deeper constitutional question about the true purpose of government. The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship
The American Constitutional Rights Union is proud to announce the creation of The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship, honoring our founder’s lifelong dedication to liberty, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning in January 2026, this scholarship will be awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.
Named for Robert B. Carleson, a visionary public servant who championed individual freedom and self-reliance, the scholarship will help deserving students pursue higher education while carrying forward his enduring legacy. Learn more about Robert Carleson’s impact here.
